Wig Room
The wig room is an extension of the St. John resource library. The wig room loans wigs, turbans and hats to LaFortune Cancer Center patients free of charge.
The LaFortune Cancer Center received a 2007 and 2008 grant from Komen for the Cure to purchase additional wigs for the St. John loan program. The program provides fresh, updated wigs for women undergoing cancer treatment throughout the community. The wigs are loaned at no charge to an estimated 200 women each year.
